So many people find eating healthy to be easy, no fuss in choosing the healthier alternative. I am not one of those people.
In fact, I am the worst person in the world when it comes to making healthy choices. Prior to my initial fitness journey, it was due to me thinking that healthy food is gross. Now, slightly wiser, I know that it can taste good, and it makes me feel better…but I live for pizza!
I know how horribly bad eating makes me feel. I bloat, my face gets puffy and my moods swing out of control, turning me into a one-woman-circus. I know that I am completely gluten intolerant, the little bumps on the back of my arms remind me regularly. I understand how all the bad food is breaking down in my system, pumping my muscles and liver with excess sugar, putting strain on my kidneys as it tries to filter the toxins.
